The most awaited starrer movie of Kamal’s Dasavatharam will hit the silver screens in the month of April as a grand feast for Tamil New Year. The movie has created hot waves before its release. Everyone is most awaited to see the legendary Haasan in 10 different avatars. The entire team is giving their ardent effort and it is really worthwhile to wait for the release. Jackie release Dasavatharam audio!
The most awaited and massive budget movie of the year “Dasavatharam” is to give its audio launch. The audio launch will be from the hands of the international super star far-famed for his martial arts! It is none other than Jackie Chan. The function is really going to rock the floor and the movie has been tripled the expectation among Haasan fans. Chan will get a chance to glimpse her heroine Mallika Sherawat who has already paired with him in the movie “The Myth”.
Dasavatharam not for Pongal!
The most awaited movie of the year Dasavatharam is no more a Pongal Release because the movie has to undergo quite number of CG effects! The entire team is working day and night to complete the movie. Nearly a dozen of foreign firms have been involved to give the stunning effects. The entire team feels that the movie will not be able to hit the big screens for Pongal but they can make it as a special release for February 2008 as a valentine week gift.
Dasavatharam’s release to be postponed further
Kamal’s fans are still for a disappointment. ‘Dasavatharam’ directed by K.S. Ravikumar and produced by Oscar Ravichandran has been in the making for more than a year. Kamal’s fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film since it hit the floors. The film was to be released for Diwali but was postponed to Pongal. Now, it seems that it will not be released even for Pongal. The release of the film would be delayed further. Kamal dons ten different roles in the film. Asin plays the lead role in the film. Mallika Sherawat plays a prominent role in the film. The sources close to the producer say that the computer graphics work is going on and they are using the state-of-the-art technology to give the film a smooth look. ‘Dasavatharam’ would be equal to a Hollywood film.
Get set go! For Kamal Haasan
The shooting for the movie Dasavatharam has come to an end. Kamal has reportedly commenced works for his next film. He said that it would be a mega-budget movie and it would be produced by Reliance Adlabs. The movie is titled as 'Marmayogi' and it would be directed by Kamal himself. The music for the film will be scored by A R Rahman. This movie title was the title of MGR's film released in 1951.
Asin satisfied with her work
Asin, gorgeous beauty of South film industry has recently completed the shooting for her film Dasavatharam. She said that, “Acting with Kamal is an important lesson for an actress like me”. She also said that she enjoyed her days on the sets of Dasavatharam. She hopes that the film will be a milestone in her career. The dubbing work for her in this film is very less. Every scene in the movie has been shot with great care so she is confident that it would also rock the theaters very soon. The actress said that Dasavatharam is the only film, which needs more than a 5 months long call sheet for her. Asin is not happy with Dasavatharam Press Release
The cute little Malabar girl is merely not happy with the Dasavatharam press release, as it has said that she is lending her voice for the very first time! Due to this the gorgeous beauty is a bit disappointed. Later she explained that she has dubbed in her own voice in all her films right from her debutant movie M. Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi to the latest hit Pokkiri. The ravishing beauty is shocked and said, “I don’t know how the crew has forgotten this!”
Chief Minister praised Kamal
Kamal has done different kinds of avatars in the film Dasavatharam. An official press release held recently and it was said that two songs were remaining to be shot. The songs will be shot in Chennai at the sets where art director Thotta Tharani has been constructing at a cost of Rs.3 crore. Himesh Reshammiya has scored music for the film. The audio is expected to be launched this month. Kamal has given 10 different variations to his voice and heroine Asin has also dubbed for the first time in her own voice. Kamal has paid attention to action sequences. In the press release, Kamal said that the Chief Minister has enjoyed the pictures and showed greater interest. He also said that, it is equivalent to celebrating the success of Dasavatharam with a huge function.
Seven foreigners for Dasavatharam
Since Kamal is sporting ten different roles in this film, extreme care is taken to depict him in totally different styles and to achieve this objective seven make-up artists from different parts of the world are being brought in to give the most expert touch to the best talented face in the industry. They are from New Jersey, London and California who have with them the extensive and exhaustive experience of working in Hollywood films. We have reported that the channel has already bought the rights of ‘Sivaji’ for a huge price. Latest news is that the channel has also managed to obtain the rights of the much coveted ‘Dasavatharam’. But the surprising news is that the amount that Kalaignar TV had to pay for the rights of ‘Dasavatharam’ is higher than what they had to pay for Sivaji.
‘Dasavatharam’ release postponed
The much-awaited movie ‘Dasavatharam’ will release only on November 8 (Diwali day) and not on August 15th as originally planned. Reliable sources say that the delay is because of post-production work which is predicted to take about three months time. Coincidentally, the new date is one day after Kamal’s birthday which indeed could over joy Kamal fans! We believe that Kamal will make it worth the wait.
Ten avatars meet!
The shooting for ‘Dasavatharam’ is almost coming to an end. This is a mega-budget film. Machines were brought from abroad for shooting the scene of tsunami. These machines were used for generating huge waves at the sea shore. This scene was shot recently at Muttukadu. A scene in which all the ten characters of Kamal had to meet together was also shot. Now, the crew has plans of shooting a scene which involves a helicopter shot from the top of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Kamal has already taken permission for this from the Chief Minister Mr. M. Karunanidhi. There is also a rumor that director P.Vasu is playing the role of a villain in the film.
‘Dasavatharam' shooting in Las Vegas
One of the characters that Kamal handles in the movie ‘Dasavatharam' is that of a foreigner and the shooting for the same took place in Las Vegas . One of the schedules of the movie was shot in Orlando and the second schedule of the movie will be shot in a casino. Since Las Vegas is a city famous for casinos and gambling, Kamal suggested this as the apt place shooting the movie.
Sruthy Kamal sings in ‘Dasavatharam'
Sruthy Kamal, daughter of Kamal Haasan, is right now staying in US and it seems that she has rendered her voice in singing a song in the upcoming movie ‘Dasavatharam'. It can be remembered that Kamal has already sung songs for various actors and also for himself. Sruthy has sung the song for the tunes that have been composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Mallika Sherawat who is doing a negative role in the movie will dance for the tunes.
‘Dasavatharam' in Malaysia
The movie ‘Dasavatharam' has Kamal in ten roles and thus the movie demands shooting in various shooting spots. Some of the scenes in the movie have been shot in Orlando and Las Vegas . Now the scenes involving Kamal and Asin will be shot in Malaysia . Asin is glad that she is paired with one of the big stars in the industry. She should be doubly excited since she is handling dual roles. There will be competition for performance in the movie as Kamal is handling ten roles and Asin performing two roles. There are also Napolean, Mallika Sherawat, Jayapradha and Jayaram in the cast.
Dasavatharam shooting almost over
Dasavatharam’s shooting is almost complete and the post production work is going on. It is said that Kamal is fully engrossed in the post production work. As usual, Kamal is keen on getting the right Computer Graphics for the film. The dubbing work has commenced. It is almost a year since the movie is being shot and the entire crew is confident that the movie would be a great success.
